Session Fee

The Session Fee covers the time and talent of the photographer and is $150 or $250, depending on the type of session chosen. The $150 session includes up to 1.5 hours of shooting time and preparation of 15 to 20 proofs from the shoot. The $250 session includes up to 3 hours of shooting time and 30 to 40 proofs. Also included in both sessions are a pre-shoot consultation and a post-shoot ordering session. The pre-shoot consultation can be held over the phone or in person depending on the type of session. The post-shoot ordering session is held in your home approximately 2 weeks after your photo session to review your proofs and order your pictures.

The session fee is due at the time of booking.

An extra note about newborn sessions:  I recommend calling to book your session at the start of your third trimester. The sessions are best when held in the first two weeks of life, so there is a small time window in which to schedule the session. Also, newborn sessions are always 3 hours because of time needed to get the baby to sleep, thus the newborn session fee is $250.

Prints and Products

Prints and products can be ordered a la carte or in collections. The collections are discounted up to 40% off the a la carte prices. Products include canvas wraps, photo wraps, albums, storyboards, and digital products.

A canvas wrap is a photograph printed on canvas, and then the canvas is stretched around a wooden frame so that the image wraps around the sides of the frame. The canvas wrap is ready to hang when your receive it. An example is shown below.

A photo wrap is similar to a canvas wrap, but it is an actual photograph stretched around a wooden frame. Also the frame is slightly thinner. It also arrives ready to hang on your wall.

Albums are custom designed using the images in your gallery. The album pages are photographs mounted to a thick, rigid substrate, which are coated to protect them.  The cover is also custom designed and is a photograph wrapped around the hard cover.

The hardcover Photo Book is also custom designed. The pages are thinner than the pages in the Luxury Album, and they are double-sided press printed. The pages are designed to lie flat when the book is opened.

A storyboard is a collage of images printed as a 10×20 photograph. The photograph is then mounted as a photo wrap. Below are several designs for storyboards.

Digital products include Facebook files, digital negatives, and a slideshow set to music.

Facebook files are low resolution files that you can share with friends on Facebook and on your phone.

Digital negatives are full resolution files that can be used to print any size, create cards, calendars, or scrapbooks, or for various digital purposes such as Facebook, blogs, and websites. Buying your digital negatives also allows you to archive your images and protect your investment.

An example of a slideshow set to music is shown below. The slideshow includes all of the images in your proof gallery.
