Last fall I had a session with 4 sisters, and the youngest would not give up her hat! So we tried again to get some shots of this pretty little girl sans hat. :-) I think we got it!

Last fall I had a session with 4 sisters, and the youngest would not give up her hat! So we tried again to get some shots of this pretty little girl sans hat. :-) I think we got it!

I am currently booked for Fall 2009, and my first open sessions are in January 2010. I have a very limited number of slots per month, so I am generally booking several months in advance. It’s never too early to call if you want to book a session! Call now to book in the Winter or Spring 2010, particularly if you want a newborn session.
Another new product to show you! The image is printed on artist’s canvas, and the canvas is wrapped around a wooden stretcher frame so that the image continues around the sides of the piece. The frame is 1 1/2 inches thick. The canvas is coated for protection and arrives ready to hang on the wall. Like the Gallery Mount, no framing is needed, which saves you time and money. Instant Decorating! I think the Canvases are a combination of traditional (with the texture of the canvas) and modern (with the clean look of no frame and the image continuing around the sides). They are a beautiful way to display images of your family.
This canvas is a 20×24.
Here are some detailed shots of the sides and edges.

And here is the back of the piece complete with hardware to hang it on the wall.

I want to start showing off some of the custom made products that I offer in addition to standard 8×10 and 5×7 prints.
The first one is the Gallery Mount. It is made by mounting a photograph to a 3/4″ thick, heavy, wooden board. The edge of the board is beveled and finished in either white or black, which is chosen to compliment the image. The entire surface is coated for protection, and the back of the board is drilled with a key-hole mount for hanging. There is no need for framing, which saves you time and money. The Gallery Mount is delivered to you complete and ready to hang…instant decorating! They are unique, modern, elegant pieces of art made with an image of your child or family.
The sample shown here is a 20×24 Gallery Mount.

Here are a couple of pictures to show the beveled edge.

Lastly, this image shows the back of the piece, which is pre-drilled for hanging.

I’m putting the finishing touches on my new price list for 2009. I’ll be introducing some new products, and a whole new structure to the price list….including three print collections and three digital collections! The price list will go into effect on Jan 1, 2009, but if you make an appointment now (that is, pay your session fee before Dec 31, 2008) for a session to be held in January or February 2009, you will be able to use whichever list better suits your needs and your pocketbook.
I’ll be posting about the new products on the blog soon, so come back and visit to check them out!
