Continuing my run of boys with this precious newborn.  He slept soundly the whole session, so I got to try out a few new things…which I love!  Here’s my favorite.

And nothing beats this classic pose, which I always try to capture (doesn’t he have the cutest little belly button?).

The tummy poses are always a little harder to get (some babies just don’t go for it), but so worth it when it works out!

This one was one of Daddy’s particular requests.

Lastly the whole gorgeous family together.  I could have photographed them all day!

This little girl belongs to this beautiful mom that I posted about in November.

Her mom brought rosary beads to the maternity session and this little miniature strand to the newborn session.

Sometimes we do get photos of the newborn awake, and I love that she’s looking right at me in this one.

I know this little girl’s family is so thankful for her!  She’s the first child and first grandchild (on both sides of the family) and was already getting spoiled rotten in her first 7 days!    We had a wonderful session and got so many beautiful shots.  Here are just a few….

One week old and the most precious plump cheeks!  His parents were expecting a tiny little thing based on the doctor’s prediction and got a ‘big’ surprise at (if I recall correctly) 8 lb 14 oz!
