I had a sweet little newborn boy visit me last week, and I am just in love with his hair!

I just finished making this new blue baby cocoon, and this little guy was the first to try it out.

He was actually awake and alert for most of the session (we had quite a time getting him to sleep!), so we got some nice awake shots too.
I had another birthday girl come visit me this week! We had lots of fun trying different outfits and looks.
We did a little patty-cake…

…worked on the pout (love it!)…
…played in the tutu a bit…
…and got some shots with Mommy too! (so pretty!)
This little one is one of my First Year Collection customers, so I pulled out a newborn and 6 month shots to share too. Her mommy will be getting an album with images from all three sessions as part of the collection.
I’ve got a new workshop coming up in April! It’s Photography 101: Using Your Digital SLR Camera.
Do you set your SLR on “Auto” or “Program” most of the time because you feel like you don’t know what else to do with it? Come to my class and learn how to really get the most out of your investment in your camera. If you are always using “Auto,” you are using a really expensive point’n’shoot! :-) The class is appropriate for beginners, and I’ll be using every day terms to explain the basic use and operation of a digital SLR. We’ll talk about shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, histograms, metering, and lots more!

Tuesday, April 28, 6:30 to 8:30 pm
